STEW SAUCE TERESA LILIEN

Ingredients:

  • 4 large onions, diced

  • 4 or 5 garlic cloves, cut into large pieces,

  • Oil,

  • 6 beefsteak tomatoes (or 2 cans of tomato sauce)

  •  1 kg. stew meat,

  • Salt and sugar,

  •  Water



Directions::

  • Chop the onion and chop the garlic.

  • Put in a pot and cover with oil. Sauté on strong fire.

  • When the onion is tender, put the beef. Cover with a lid

  • When the meat is white, arrange tomatoes cut in 4 over the meat and cover with the lid again. After 5 or 10 'uncover. Scoop out the tomatoes with a fork and take their skin out.(or pour the 2 cans of tomato sauce)

  • Put them back on the meat and put 1/4 of teaspoon of salt.

  • Lower heat to medium and cover.

  • Stir constantly.

  • Put a pinch of sugar.

  • Cook over medium heat.

  •  Remove the oil from the sides with a spoon.

  • Add a little water so that it does not stick.

  • It takes 1 hour and a half
