SPINACH OR CHARD LATKES

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Chard

  • 4 spoonfuls of All purpose flour or matzo meal (If it is for Passover)

  • 1 teaspoon of Royal Powder (Baking Powder)

  • 3 eggs

  •  Salt

  •  Pepper

  •  1 tbsp Minced garlic



Directions:

  1.  Boil the chard, squeeze it well and chop by hand, add flour or matzo meal, a little self-rising agent such as royal, and raw eggs, salt and pepper. Add the chopped garlic.

  2.  Put a tbsp of batter in hot oil and lower the heat a little so that they are evenly cooked
