SALMON BRAIDED INTO CHALLAH SHAPE

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole salmon

  • Brine solution (see recipe)

  • 1 orange

  • zero salt fish rub

  • 2 spoonfuls of maple



Directions:

  • Brine the salmon overnight. (Add sugar, thyme and any other flavor you may like)

  • Slice the salmon into 3 or 4 long strips, depending on the way you like to braid the challah.

  • Braid the salmon.

  • Season with Zero salt rub of your liking.

  •  Put it on the grill (or broil) in low.

  •  Meanwhile prepare a simple glaze of orange juice and maple. Baste the salmon with the glaze. Serve with challah and mashed potatoes.
