QUICK SWEET-AND-SOUR BEEF

INGREDIENTS
4 rib steaks cut into strips approximately 2 pounds 900 g
2 large onions, thinly sliced
3-4 cloves of minced garlic
⅔ cup of red wine
½ cup soy sauce
4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
4 teaspoons brown sugar
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
STEP BY STEP PREPARATION
Mix the wine, garlic, soy sauce, mustard and sugar in a large bowl, add the beef strips and marinate for 30 minutes.
Fry the onion over medium high heat for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and set aside.
Remove the beef strips from the marinade with a slotted spoon and fry them in the onion pan over medium-high heat for about a minute on each side.
The amount of time will depend on how well cooked you like your meat.
Add the marinade and simmer until the marinade thickens and adheres to the meat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
