Passover Sponge Cake 3

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups of sugar,

  • 4 eggs,

  • 5 yolks,

  • 5 egg whites,

  • 1 ½ cups of potato starch,

  • grated peel of 1 lemon



Preparation

  • Beat the eggs and the other yolks with the sugar for 40 minutes.

  • Add the starch by the spoonful, then the lemon and finally the beaten egg whites.

  • Place in a mold lined with parchment paper and bake for 1 hour.

  • Cool, cut into layers and fill with whatever you like.
