PASSOVER LACHMASHEEN

Ingredients:

  • 12 small potatoes,

  • ½ glass of oil,

  • 6 beaten eggs,

  • salt, pepper and

  • 18 tablespoons of potato starch.

  • 1 large onion,

  • 1 glass of tomato puree,

  •  1 squeezed lemon,

  • 1 tbsp sugar,

  • Salt,

  • baharat.

  • ½ kg of raw ground beef

Directions::

  • Peel the potatoes, boil them until tender, and cool. Puree them and add oil, eggs, salt and pepper. Add the starch until it takes consistency.

  • refrigerator for an hour

  • Make the gnocchi dough (see recipe) and add more starch until you get a dough that

  • can be stretched with a stick.

  • Cut into 7 cm discs. Place them in a roasting pan brushed with oil and cover them with the lajmayin sauce. Bake until brown in the base

Filling:

  • Process 1 large onion, 1 glass of tomato puree, 1 squeezed lemon, 1 tbsp sugar, salt, baharat.

  • Add ½ kg of ground beef and process again
