Ingredients 2 carrots, peeled and cut into coins 1 onion, quartered 1 teaspoon black peppercorns 3 cups (710 m 1) of water 1 lemon sliced 1 22 oz frozen gefilte fish loaf
Directions Place carrots, onions, and peppercorns in inner pot. Add the water and lemon slices. Press Saute and when the liquid boils, press Cancel. Remove the plastic wrap from the loaf but leave it in the parchment paper wrapper. Place the loaf in the liquid. Secure the lid, making sure the steam release handle is in the Seal position. Press the pressure cook button and set the cooking time to 20 minutes. When cook time is complete, turn steam release handle toward vent position to quickly release pressure. Take off the lid. Raise the bread onto a serving plate or skillet and add the carrots. Let cool and then refrigerate overnight. To serve, cut the bread into slices and place on a platter or plate. Place a carrot on top of each.
