This recipe is a winner in our family, it is easy to prepare and as a complement to any soup as well as a side dish to any meat, poultry or tomato sauce; feel free to double the recipe and keep it for another dinner, as it freezes well.

Directions:: Mix the mashed potatoes with the eggs, salt and pepper. Add the potato starch until the mixture forms a gooey dough. boil water with salt in a large pot to allow the nokedlej to expand and pour out small portions of dough in the boiling water, boil for twenty minutes without running out of water. The Nokedlej tend to float upwards in the Water. After 20 minutes of cooking, remove them with a slotted spoon. Serve with grilled chicken, roast beef, or gravy.
Preparation: 10 minutes. For 8-10 servings. |
