BECHAMEL SAUCE

Ingredients :

  • 60 g of butter

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose or self-rising flour

  • 1/2 liter of hot milk or cream

  • salt

  • pepper



Preparation :

  • Melt 60g of butter, add 2 tbsp of flour, cook for a few minutes, and gradually pour in 1/2 liter of hot milk. Make sure no lumps form.

  • Season with salt and pepper and cook until thickened.

  • If you want it really thick, use less milk.
